Onward to the Future
Hello everyone - I really should not be blogging, but I am so tempted to that I'll make this one a short one.
Tonight was Careers Night - a very very interesting night I might add! I had planned out which course (rooms) I was going to and what kind of questions to ask etc. However, I only ended up going to the main hall with all the universities where you ask general info about whatever, as well as C9 (Agriculture, Science, Veterinary Science, Engineering) and spent maybe the first 5-10 minutes talking to a woman named Stephanie Xavier (what a funky last name!) about Animal Veterinary Bioscience (I think that's it) and then a good 1/2 hour with Mrs Helen Jones, a 5th year Vet Science student who was really excited in discussing almost anything to do with the course. After speaking with her (and coming back to ask more questions quite a few times) I have this massive urge to do Vet Science!! The only drawback would be the UAI cut off which is tad bit high...I'm not sure if I'll be able to get there...yes if you're wondering it's 98.45 eeeeeeeekkk!?!
Everything to do with the course sounds interesting and maahahahah turns out that even though in all the 'fine print' it states that assumed knowledge is Maths, Chem, and PHYSICS - you really don't need to know Physics at all...in fact according to Helen, she has no idea why it's in there as assumed knowledge at all? Wheee!! Yay that means no hardcore study during my lovely 4 months of utter bliss!!!
Anyway, I suspect that this has been the most boring blog that you all have ever read so I should stop blabbering on about it now!! Soooo a UAI of 98.45....better start studying for Chem Assessment then hey? It's...9:41pm ....bugger! Ta ta! *mwah*
