My new technique of recovering quickly (and hopefully it actually works) is to catch the cold/flu before it catches me...well before it has its full grasp on me. You know, when you get that weird airy feeling in your throat and you just know that you're going to be all gluggy and gross for the next few weeks. As soon as the first symptoms of the first day hits me, BAM! I take a day off and drink hot water and lemsip till my head is watery. It's a win-win situation! Or like one of those really smart ideas...
Anyhoo, the point is that I end up getting a nice restful day where I am still healthy and unclogged enough to enjoy it, AND, recover quickly which means I never really reach that disgusting phase that everybody hates.
Genius!
P.S. Has anybody ever kinda...lied to their parents and pretended to be perfectly fine when they were actually just a tad bit sick, so they can go out tomorrow night? Heh.
