I'm back! And boy have I missed a lot! If you didn't know (or weren't a good friend and just didn't notice) I've been missing in action for the past week, lurking in the depths, adventuring into the wild, seeking new knowledge, ...pfft! HA! More like sitting at home sick as can be subsequently morphing into what I'd like to call a "glumstick": a thin shrivelled sad depressed bitter girl. I hear you groan "Here comes the complaining, whining, whinging,..", but it's OKAY because the point is that I'm back to my somewhat normal self now.

Yes after my disappearance, coming back...has never felt this stressful. My body chose to shut down during a crazy busy period, and now - the work load, the stress, the things to do, just continues to pile up and it WON'T STOPPP!! For example, I've got 3 reports due in the next 2 weeks none of which I've started (actually only 1 started tonight after freaking out from not starting), UAC matter to sort out, HK trip to sort out, Grey's Anatomy, quizzes, assignments aAaRrggh!!! *collapses and dies* Okay okay so I'm being a tad bit overdramatic, but I'm sure everyone goes through that feeling of utter...swampedness?

Meanwhile, as Emily wallows in the mucous pits (okay bad BAD detail), Ines' birthday dinner and Buckieball floats past ever so gracefully. [Btw, HAPPY BIRTHDAY BOOTIFUL GAL (ie. Nessy..although she's still an old fart ha ha)!]

Okay okay enough of stressful ordeals. Let's talk about...phones. I'm planning to get the Sony Ericsson W850i. It hasn't come out in Aus yet, and is just about to in good old Honky land. Does anyone have any alternative suggestions or comments in general about the phone? Here, it's pretty sexy:

Oh no WAIT, you know what is REALLY sexy? The LG Chocolate. OH MY GAWWSSH! That is one hell of a sexy phone. It screams everthing hot. HOT HOT HOT. Like chocolate! Haw haw. The features are basic, but not only essential. That is, this sizzling phone has all the features of all the new trendy phones, but just not as advanced, hence...basics. PLUS! It's a touch screen which is activated when you slide it open! *swoon* Look LOOK!

Okay enough from me!

~Emz~

Pre-sickness

17 Aug 2006

Pre-sickness

I think my pre-cold is getting worse. Which sucks.

My new technique of recovering quickly (and hopefully it actually works) is to catch the cold/flu before it catches me...well before it has its full grasp on me. You know, when you get that weird airy feeling in your throat and you just know that you're going to be all gluggy and gross for the next few weeks. As soon as the first symptoms of the first day hits me, BAM! I take a day off and drink hot water and lemsip till my head is watery. It's a win-win situation! Or like one of those really smart ideas...

Anyhoo, the point is that I end up getting a nice restful day where I am still healthy and unclogged enough to enjoy it, AND, recover quickly which means I never really reach that disgusting phase that everybody hates.

Genius!

P.S. Has anybody ever kinda...lied to their parents and pretended to be perfectly fine when they were actually just a tad bit sick, so they can go out tomorrow night? Give me credit. I tried.

As you hopefully gathered, my blog has come back because I know how you are all dying to know about my life. It's okay. I understand.

I was thinking about posting a link up on myspace (or now known as windows space - I think they bought it or something ha ha) each time I blog here so that lazy people can see when I've updated. Feedback would be marvelous.
Well to start off with, for all of you who don't know - I'm at uni now. Oh my how I've grown. What a mature intelligent girl I have become. I'm at Sydney University (yayyy!) and I'm currently enrolled in B. Science (Advanced), with not much of clue as to what I will do next year. Yes, I still own mice/rats - only now I have one mouse left (Mocha) and my two boys Possum and Freddie (scroll down for baby photos) are now fully grown, chubby, cheeky rats. After the season 2 finale of Greys Anatomy (in US) finished, I was devastated, itching to continue the story plot. Mind you it was a fantastic finale, but now I am suffering from Greys-sickness, mildy relieved weekly (-->insert plug here<--) by the episode re-runs here in Aus.
I think that will suffice for a first post. Hopefully I'll remain consistent with my blogging, emphasis on hopefully. But until we meet again, au revoir!

~Emz~

A Sad Farewell

5 March 2006

A Sad Farewell

Alas my "youth" is almost over in....5 minutes. Tomorrow - I shall become what some call...a UNI STUDENT. *sob* Oh woe is me!

These holidays have lasted long - too long for me to leave! I'm in such a horrible habit of waking up at 11-12 each day left with half of a day to bum around, going out whenever I want and doing whatever I want to do...etc etc. What will become of me as soon as I get back on that fast-paced treadmill, infected with study, stress, responsibility, time management, and much much more???? Haha as most of you know (because I have a big mouth that cannot be shut) I have my little baby ratlets now!!!! I'm so excited and feel like I'm on an extreme high hehe yes they make me that happy teehee!!!

Anyhoo, they're called Frederick and Possum. Lol and no I wasn't thinking about Frederick the prince when I named him - both of those names just came to mind while I was playing with them. They are very very tiny (only 3-4 weeks old) and are a bit larger than fully grown mice. Already, Freddy has established himself as the dominant male despite him being much younger than Possum by madly and forcibly grooming Possum. However I must say it was a long strenuous battle until Possum finally gave up, lay on his stomach, lowered his head, and allowed that annoying lil' brother to power lick his head. Also, Frederick has claimed his 'spot' on me - that little groove on my shoulders next to my neck - on which he likes to perch on and enjoy the view. While Possum simply loves to explore and climb from place to place!

They are the cutest darlings I have ever laid eyes upon!!! Okay okay here is your proper update *mutter*.

I've been meaning to blog about my thoughts concerning this year for a while. As most of my fellow "ex Year 12s" (I don't know what to call us anymore) or more formally known as "Class of 2005" have probably done as well, I enrolled at USYD in my course, Advanced Science a few weeks ago, and it was quite the thrilling experience :) The highlights would have to be:
.:. Wentworth Building and seeing lovely USYD jerseys
.:. The ACCESS card which gives me funky discounts to heaps of places (woohooo asian barrgain!)
.:. My shiny brand spanking new Student ID which has a transport concession thing on it which means I can finally travel at a cheaper price as oppossed to travelling at the ridiculous expenses of an adult
.:. The SEEXXXY USYD diary

I'm looking forward to starting Uni - doing stuff that I like and not under the obligation of attending classes which I absolutely dread. Hahaha oh yes, and the Uni wardrobe. Sonki, me, and Eileen have started buying/planning to buy "Uni clothes" because we want to look smart, sophisticated, and stylish. I mean, what else are we going to wear without our school uniform?

If anyone is interested - here are my subjects for 2006:

Sem 1
Differential Calculus
Linear Algebra
Chemistry 1A (Adv)
Ecosystems to Genes (Adv)
Pyschology
Sem 2
Statistics
Integral Calculus and Modelling
Chemistry 1B
Living Systems (Adv)
Molecular Biology & Genetics

If anyone is doing the same, tell me! And hopefully we'll share some classes together so I won't be all by my itty bitty self!

Anyway it's 12:40am and I am great need of sleep mmmm sleeep :)

P.S. I will be buying my baby ratties sometime this week, hopefully by Saturday. WOOHOOOOO!!! Yayayya!! Three beautiful baby girls of course :D

P.P.S. I am a very happy chappy ^_^

~Emz~

^_^

1:03AM 2 Feb 2006

^_^

^_^

~Emz~

Year 5 Encore

10:46PM 16 Jan 2006

Year 5 encore

Do you guys (fellow pymblians) remember the good old days of obsessively playing pc games on our brand spankin new laptops in year 5? We were introduced to the idea of 'shareware', exchanging exciting fun filled games, and of course deadly viruses as a result. My absolute favourite pc game was Dogz and Catz 3 - a virtual game where you had to take care of your pets which involved feeding them, playing with them, helping them mate, watching them grow, teaching them tricks, and so forth. I religiously played it - keeping track of my family trees and cross breeding to the max to produce beautiful mixed babies :P

My computer crashed one unfortunate day in year 7 and I thought I had lost all my pets. But alas, I somehow managed to find a way to restore them - what a glorious day! However, to my horror I had discovered that my Catz 3 CD broke - it was a TRAGEDY. This would mean that I would not be able to restore my beloved cats!!! I wept and wept for days, mourning the loss of my babies. And that was that. *sniff*

Recently, coming across Electronics Boutique with Lillian in Sydney Central Plaza, I found - yes that's right - Dogz 5 and Catz 5!!!! My eyes widened and memories came flooding back into my head. MY game! MY childhood game!!!! And it was on SALE! 25% off!!! Which meant $7.35 for each game!! How bloody cheap!! I HAD to buy it!

So here I am, a few days into playing Petz 5 and I am luvin' it. It's changed quite a lot from the old petz, for example the graphics and the breeds. Haha what's more is that I just downloaded some ratz and mice - people out there spend time making different breeds/playscenes/toys/clothes for this program - and they are so damn cute! They're a bit annoying with their incredibly high pitched sounds though, but their adorable looks make up for it :)

Originally I was going to make the effort into putting up photos of my current pets, but I don't think anyone is really interested in my little obsession :P

Aahhhhh I feel young again :)

~Emz~

The Beginning

11:36pm 1 Jan 2006

The Beginning

Hey! I shall give you a short briefing of my life so far...

Unfortunately I did NOT get 98.45 for Veterinary Science which brought me to tears and despair for quite some time. My plan now? Advanced Science (96.40) at Sydney Uni and transferring or doing post grad (hopefully the former). Thus my future at the moment is not very secure and is hanging on many 'ifs'. Let's hope that things turn out for the better!

Fortunately though, I have recently found a job (after many many months of searching/calling/faxing/emailing/walking around shops like a desperate unemployed bum) and now work at Carlingford Animal Hospital. Originally my job was just 'packing jobs' which involved packaging vitamins/formulas/bird seed/etc. into smaller packets, weighing them, labelling them, sealing them, or 'jarring' them. However, I've been given the privilege of doing things "upstairs" work like helping with the postage, doing orders, writing out receipts, answering phone calls, putting in/searching details on the computer system, filing, and wait for it...helping with surgery!! :D Haha I feel like a medican intern in a hospital maha (I am WAY too obsessed with Grey's Anatomy!) So far I've taken part in 2 surgeries - both cats. The first cat, I was required to help hold the cat (it was under anaesthesia) whilst another girl helped shaved its fur off in preparation to surgery. Then I had to help cut the ends of the 'string' for the stitches - how exciting!!! The second cat involved holding the cat down once again for shaving, and also monitoring its breathing that was showing up on a machine. Anyway, next year I may be 'promoted' to becoming a Vet Nurse there cos they need more staff on Saturdays especially, which will involve all that I am doing now + more, for example injecting the animals to "konk" them out, and more nitty gritty stuff. How excitement!

Not much else has been happening to me that I would want to tell you or that you would want to know. I'm quite happy with where I am. Shopping was great this week - you know with all the SALES SALES SALES and 50% OFF EVERYTHING!~ Hoorah! Discount galore!!! I hart my shopping :)

Merry Christmas everyone (late) and Happy New Year. Don't drink too much and remember to party party party!! *hugz to all* Bye!!!! Yay 2005 is OVER!

~Emz~

Doomsday

10:57pm 16 Dec 2005

Doomsday

That's right folks, doomsday is approaching..or has approached...or is in progress - you choose. They were either pleasing, or disappointing. Mine, let's just say weren't 'that' exciting, but I won't speak of it any more for you shall all get too nosy and claw each other to know the hot juicy details.

And then there's tomorrow, yet another day of disappointment or happiness - depending on how well you have absorbed information into your brain throughout the year 2005, how well and often you have revised in order to absorb information into that brain throughout the year 2005, or how well you have bullshit throughout the year of 2005.

Yes, I am a bit delirious tonight. Yes, I am tossing out a substantial amount of sarcasm. Yes, ...I have nothing more to say.

Oh wait, yes I do.
Merry Christmas...
not yet...
but it will be.
Hooray.

~Emz~

Merci bcp

12:22PM 7 Dec 2005

Merci bcp

.:Update 1:. Photos from my birthday lunch and 18th party are <a href="http://photobucket.com/albums/c23/emzphotos/"target="_blank">here..:End of Update 1:.

I am finally 18 years old. My <a href="http://photobucket.com/albums/c116/Melbourneschoolies"target="_blank">schoolies pics are up! Ask me personally for the password :)

Hey people who read my blog! :) *waves*
Well, today is my last day of being...I dunno what you call it...NOT an adult? Haha. That's right! In less than 9 hours I shall be an ADULT! Dun-DuN-DUN! *gasp* 'Emily? An ADULT? That's ABSURD!' I hear you say. Well tough luck because I will be able to legally drink, legally go into clubs....and...a few other legal things. Mwahaha!

I would like to say post-HSC life is G-R-E-A-T! There's no waking up early mornings and doing everything super quick and rushed, no obligation or guilty feelings about bumming around doing absolutely nothing that is practical, etc etc. I LOVE IT! Maha!

Hmm...at the moment the sky is very strange. It was blue and fine and cloudless, until a big ugly grey cloud came looming over us all sending out its calls of rage. Now I look out of my bedroom window and I see this uber fat cloud and next to it, pure blue sky. Go away cloud!!! Shoo!

Anyway...sorry for that tangent. As I was saying, life is great. I came back from Melbourne on Sunday and it was just an awesome experience and a whole load of Fun with a capital F! I hart Melbourne in so many ways haha :P It's so much more tourist friendly and slower and cleaner and...nice! I'll give you all an attempted quick recap of schoolies:

Wednesday: Got there early in the morning, all of us tired as hell. We dumped our bags at the apartment (check in time was 2pm) and went shopping with Jess' Aunt. I bought like...$90 worth of stuff EEP! We simply explored the city and adapted to our surroundings. At night we were so tired that we decided to get take away and eat in, followed by many card games and a bit of drinking. Me feeling a bit sick and facing heatstroke stayed away from the alcohol and slept early.

Thursday: Woke up at 9:30ish. Lesley, Smock, Ru made yummy breakfast consisting of toast, scrambled eggs, bacon and pancakes. We went to the Queen Victoria Markets, and then to Richmond for some factory outlet shopping. Then at night everyone exc. me (feeling a bit ill) went to Lygon street in search for a nice Italian restaurant.

Friday: Had a complementary breakfast downstairs at the hotel restaurant. Our day was spent at St. Kilda, first at the beach and then walking along...some road that I keep forgetting which has multiple cake stores = YUM! At night they took me back to Lygon st. and we had an Italian dinner. Afterwards, we went to Koko Black which is like Max Brennan's here. We caught this city tour kind of old fashioned car back home with this old grumpy man driving it hehe. Ru, Smock, Kirsten, Jenny, Stef, and Mel went clubbing.

Saturday:Sonki, Ru, and I went back to St. Kilda so that Sonki could reconsider buying this bag lol. In the end we didn't get it, but went to Jay jays and bought 3 items each (me and Sonki) haha I'm such a shopaholic!! We then met up with the rest who went to art galleries and watched the Lebanese festival, and went back to the apartment to prepare ourselves for the last night in Melb. We went to Brunswick (spelling?) street in Fitzroy and found a funky Afghan restaurant. It was packed so we had to wait 1/2 hour to get a spot, so we entertained ourselves by exploring this crazy interesting store across the road called "Polyester books - totally weird shit" which had tonnes of interesting reading material minus the excessive amount of porn/adult/x-rated material in there as well. There was a section where Freelance artists printed off their works to sell such as comics, poetry, stories, etc. Anyway, back to the restaurant...it was awesome! The seats were all 'rugged' and were kind of down on the floor and the table was long and short. We got our own private room upstairs which was really good since we were able to be as idiotic and drunk as we like much to Ruvani's dismay. The walls in our room were either filled with paintings, patterned rugs, or antique displays of some sort. It was magical! Anyway, we went back to the hotel - Ru nearly got hit by a car..twice...for the second time....that I know of.... and began packing and filming absolute crap cause we were so pissed (without any alcohol). Haha Ru noted that when we're on a high, we actually act like drunk lunatics...I wonder what we'll be like if we literally became drunk...hmmm disturbing thought!

Alors, I got 15 mins sleep...which didn't do me any favours. I felt like a log getting on that plane. We went to Melbourne with 7, and left with 5 haha no don't worry it's not like we left anyone behind! Smock stayed with Kirsten and Jenny (she left us on Thursday *sob*) and Ruvani stayed back and met up with her cousin and father later. Yay we got back to Sydney safely and boy does the weather here SUCK! Our travel to Melbourne was extremely lucky weather wise since it was suppose to rain and storm, but fortunately it was happy and sunny for the whole trip - and still is at this very moment I think!

The next few days are packed full of organisation, events, and more. I want to can't wait to turn 18 but I'm not so excited yet. I want it to kick in, but there's so much on my mind right now which is stopping me from letting it sink in. Oh well, hope it happens soon!

~Emz~

Formal

7:35PM Nov 20 2005

Formal

Formal piccies are up!
Venue: Crystal Palace Luna Park
Date: 16th November 7:30pm - midnight
Pres were at Lilo's house - thanks for letting us crash your house and offering us yummy cheese to eat!! :)

It was a tad stressful (I think most people felt that at some point of the evening) but overall the night was wonderful :)

<a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/emileye/sets/1402879/"target="_blank">Click here for Formal Piccies!

~Emz~

C'est Fini!

10:40PM Nov 2 2005

C'EST FINI!

It's over!!! OMG!! It's finally OVER! I am sooooo friggin happy it's crazy!! I can't stop grinning like a mad lunatic! But it feels GREAT!!!! Here's a really brief thingy of what I thought of the exams:
Ad Eng AOS - Crap. I hate journeys!! First section was just screwy, second section was alright I just slotted in my prepared creative, and third was craaaap
French - Hard. R&RpartA was really hard, and I didn't know what the questions wanted. Listening was sucky. R&RpartB was more of a writing than responding which is crap. Writing was...bad consisting of horrible simple vocab and shocking grammar.
Ad Eng Modules - Surprising that it was all essays. REALLY weird! But it just killed my hand causing it to constantly spasm throughout the exam, which affected my expression. Bah.
Maths 2u - REALLY hard. EEp.
Maths 3u - more 3u than the 2u was 2u if that makes sense. It was hard, but I expected it to be like that. I made a lot of mistakes stupid stupid mistakes, but it was alright.
Biology - Quite good, but I made a few silly mistakes again which is going to cost me.
Ext Eng - Lovely! Lovely essay question, lovely stimulus, lovellly!
Chem - The best Chem exam I've ever done, partially because I actually studied for it this time. Mind you, just because it was the best, doesn't mean I got like...even in the 80s lol. I'm still crap at Chem!
Wellll THATS IT!! Wheheeee hehehehehehhehe I can do anything now!~ well nearly...anything...hum. I AM FREE LIKE A BIRD!! KAWWWKAKAKWKWKAK!!!! *hugs to you all*!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Me, Jasmine, Lilo, and Monk went to Pancakes and stuffed ourselves crazy, and strolled around the city for quite a while. A nice way to begin our journey of FREEDOM!!!! :D

Tomorrow yumcha at Chatty and also its Jay's 18th!!! yay! She's an adult! An ancient adult mahaha!! Friday it's shopping at Bondi wooot!!! PARTY!!!!

~Emz~

As we go on...

2:15AM Sep 30 2005

As we go on...

Well hey fellow fanatics of my blog *waves*

I don't have much time and I don't think I should spent too much time on this considering the dreaded big H is in 18 FRIGGIN DAYS (*sarcastically* Thanks Jen for reminding me)!?!?!?!! Ehem anyway. When it hit me, sudden thoughts of 'Do I know this well?' and 'Have I done enough practice for that?' came flooding into my mind until it felt like my brain was about to explode. But stress less Em. Stress less. aahhh that's it. Feel the inner peace~ .....humm.....

Anyhoo, the reason why I madly decided to blog I am SO mad...I mean...who the hell blogs 18 days before their HSC?!?! is because I really really really wanted to talk about the last few days of school..very briefly A bit late loser. You see I was going to blog after Nov 2nd Woopeeee but I mean that just kills the moment doesn't it? It won't be as 'fresh'!

Okay let's get rolling. And yes I am speaking in two voices...well I was...no I'm fine now. Ooookay anyway....

Last few days were mad - and I mean utterly mad and filled with emotion, excitement and chaos, but wonderful chaos mind you. First there was the Staff Concert and omgosh I have never seen teachers like that before. I guess it's because they feel safe that the rest of the PLC community won't ever see them this stupid (we weren't allowed to film or take pics). Highlights definitely would have to be Mr Bou...[okay I'm not going to even try to spell his name, but yes the ehem I don't want to say this but 'HOT HISTORY DUDE' as he is labelled amongst us Pymblings] getting down and dirty with Ms DeSo...[I'm not going to try and spell her name either bah I suck at spelling! >.<]. Down and dirty dancing that is. My goodness what were YOU thinking Hummm?? Tsk tsk for SHAME on your dirty mind. :P
Another highlight would have to be the maths teachers singing their 'somebody' song - that was the first time I cried because of year 12 related things. It was so sweet to hear their rendition of 'All things bright and beautiful, all seniors big and small' *tears*. It was so SWEET!
I absolutely LOVED the english department omgoodness they are such a HILARIOUS and ...rather disturbing bunch!! The image of Wysey with her tribal-like dance and her serious eyes as Abigail....Mrs Meenahan with her 'brooke' looks and fantastic black wig....Mrs French in her bonnet crying out 'Heathcliff!!!'...and Miss Pullin in that short mini skirt damn she has legs damn damn damn lol
And of course who could forget the Rev's song - what a TEAR JERKER! For all you non-Pymblings, he played on his merry guitar and sung to 'Teenage Dirtbag' but the chorus went something like this: 'Coz they are not teenage dirtbag babies, they are pymble college ladies', wearing that tartan something something ooooohhhh' *sigh* such graet memories!!

Moving onto the last day of school. We blocked the gates for trainliners and prepared to stick those sticky stickers labelled with 'YEAR 12 LOVES YOU' on inferior Pymblings teehee. Also we had markers to right random things on girls as well, but that quickly came to an end when one of the younger girls had an allergic reaction to the pens...eep... You may think we are some chicken year not being evil to the rest of the school, but I present you with two reasons for this:
1) We weren't allowed to 'misbehave' or 'disrupt' in any manner ie. have a muck up day. Otherwise we would be suspended/expelled/thrown into the paddock with Smartie hahaha
2) We are such a nice loving bunch of girls =)

The signing of the white shirts commenced as year 12s furiously searched for coloured markers off friends to scribble quick yet slightly meaningful messages on each other. The chest area was quite popular lol. Olivia and Jess got mine !! Anyhoo what was first...oh yes Biology. We had a wonderful biology breakfast and [insert plug here...] you may see these photos on my delightful photo website which is just to your left under 'regardez' yes yes do click there! Biology breakfast consisted of stealing (well it's ours anyway) the toaster from the kitchen down to the lab and burning a lot of toast and waffles, devouring pancake after pancake that were actually cooked using the electric stove that someone had brought in (thanks to whoever it was btw!!), and just eating and smiling in general. Then there was Maths and the whole lesson became devoted to signing each other's shirts and taking photos with Ms Lau. We tried to get here to have a 'funny photo' and alas we succeeded with a mere peace sign and cheesy smile from her! Awwww =) Third period was French (grumble) and SHOCK HORROR we were doing HSC trial listening papers *groan* and more work. However, we managed to slip in to Mme Meunier the fact that it was the LAST DAY of school and we would have no more lessons EVER after this lesson. She was quite surprised thinking we'd be here on Thursday so we ended up taking some photos. *sigh of relief* Year Assembly was next and we made our way to the Lecture Theatre and there we witnessed the senior tutors sing and do a little dance (make a lil looove get down tonight wooo!).

After lunch was the HSC talk blah blah...and then we headed excitedly and trembling down to the ampitheatre for the COUNTDOWN! Man was it tightly packed. 250 (?) girls squished onto such a small space!!! Each time someone tripped, everyone would move, with the occasional few tumbling down to the ground. We had a medley going which included songs like Kelly Clarkson - Break Away to songs like Spice Girls - Wannabe. This went on for about 15 minutes; the air filled with bubbles from our bubble machine and the little champagne bottles we were given (I MISSED OUT SOMEONE TOOK MORE THAN ONE GRRR!!), the ampitheatre surrounded by the rest of the senior school crowding around watching us act like monkeys..HAPPY monkeys maaha! Then...the countdown --> 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2...ONE! DUUNN!! *school bell* YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAYYY!!! Everyone cheering and screaming, 20 balloons no more no less released into the big blue sky, bubbles flying everywhere, girls hugging, girls crying. It was an experience I'll never forget. Emotions overwhelmed me as I went from ecstatic and crazy to sentimental and distraught - I would be leaving this all behind! I couldn't believe it. After 10 years at Pymble...!! Tears began streaming down my face as I hugged anyone in our grade as tightly as I could. *sniff*

Ooookay wow I have written a lot...but no no I can't stop here!! Let's keep it moving!! Thursday was the beautiful Chapel Service which involved:
Hymns 'Shout to the Lord' and 'Lord of the Dance' for us junior school girls (ahaaa spong I still remember it off by heart!! Yeaahh!!)
Little prep school with the Rev singing 'the prayer' arrrgh *cries*
Ines and Monk saying their truthful, sweet and touching prayer
Claire (head prefect) nearly breaking down during her speech as she gathered herself together by adding an extra line "It's time to be humble..*sniff*..and it's time for a tissue" Hehe you're amazing :)
The AMAZING song that Deb composed which Isha and Lucy sung to *sobs* 'spread your wings, go and show them what you're made of' It was soo saad yet soo...arrrggh
A year 12 video filming all the groups in our year, establishing the fact that we ARE the year of FRIENDS! *sigh* I couldn't stop crying...I mean..they just HAD to play the graduation song to accompany it didn't they!!
Cantori singing the sad and moving 'Irish Blessing' - I had to keep it together and not start crying after the video

The releasing of the doves was next. They were GORGEOUS and I felt so privileged to be holding a dove. aaaahh I LOVE BIRDS! And it was weird holding it and thinking about its release. As soon as we let them go, they all swiftly flew up together in one tight bunch and began circling around the chapel a few times. It was AMAZING. They were BEAUTIFUL!!! ARRAGHGHAWEORIFAGHGH!!

Afterwards, we had the morning tea and I walked around taking photos with teachers. Mrs Meenahan cried! It's amazing! And it made me cry too! :( We had final assembly to finish it all off and it felt so good to finally have a big assembly devoted to us :) Having the teachers remind us of stupid silly things when we were younger was great haha I can't believe Miss Ramsay still remembers me and my fetish for the cockatoos!! Hehehehe!! Also it was so funny hearing the grade singing their heads off in the hymn as well as the school song =) So memorable! I LOVE PYMBLE!!!

Me, Jasmine, Brindaa, Minami, Amanda, Swaz, Lauren, and Evelin went to Chatty GPK after for a very late lunch. The pasta me, Ev, and Jay had was SOOO YUMMY ARRGH *Drool*. I think it was spaghetti with capsicum..and other delightful delicious things! I also met two cheery blokes who decided to greet me when I went upto the counter to ask for water. Then when they left one shook hands with me and the other, well I had a chat with him about us finishing year 12. :)

Finally, Valedictory Dinner. I have no words to describe this night. It was soo...hmm spectacular and dazzling with the big PYMBLE 2005 balloons and the great hall decorated with pearly coloured balloons! There was a video that ran throughout the whole night repeatedly on the 4, 5 or so television screens that hung across the hall with random films of us. I was seated at table 56 with my parents, Ines and her mum, Spong and her parents, and Stef and her parents. Such a happy asian bunch lol! Everyone was dressed radiantly and looked so mature and gorgeous! Entree was some sort of cold quiche with 2 REALLY YUMMY sundried tomatoes. Main course was steak and potato and cheese I think? Dessert was pavlova with strawberries and some strange sauce that looked like chocolate sauce but was actually sour??? Does anyone know what it actually was? Deb, Isha, and Lucy performed the song once again which nearly made me cry but I was determined not to ruin my make up haha :P There was dancing afterwards which lasted for practically 2 hours and everyone just let lose and partttiedd including the teachers! It was so much fun!!!

*pant pant* Man that was ONE LONG BLOG! Arrggh.. But I feel like I haven't said so much. Year 12 was amazing. It was full of crappy assessments and tiresome work, but in the end I guess it was all worth it. The memories I have of the last few days/weeks/this whole year in general are irreplaceable and priceless. They are so unbelievably special. :)

~Emz~

Thoughts...

12:27AM Sep 17 2005

Thoughts...

Hidely ho everyone :)

French Speaking last Saturday went well (I think). It was better than I expected mainly because of my examiner. She was uber nice and thankfully responded to things I said to her which makes it SO MUCH EASIER because you don't feel like you're just rambling in French boring this person who is probably thinking when their lunch break is. My questions were reasonable and flexible and I think I spoke perhaps fluently? I really don't know until my results come back. J'espere vraiment que j'ai reussi!~!

Chris' 21st was also last Saturday which was fun fun hehe Happy Birthday by the way for Thursday! Thanks for letting me dress up and get out ! Hahah :P And we all LURVED ur singing!! Awww!! *hugz*

Wow....do you know that there are THREE days left of school? I find that startling...amazing... shocking ..sad...moving... exciting... there aren't enough words to describe it. It's so weird...to actually think that we're *leaving* school and that it's really our turn! I never thought this day would approach...I suppose the reality of it all never hit me in the face till now. There goes 10 years at Pymbo...I can't believe I spent 10 friggin years there!! *gasp* That's crazzzy!!! I can't wait to finish...yet I feel so sad and...attached to the school - I'm starting to realise how much I will miss being around Pymble and just the grounds and the teachers and the little things. Even at junior school this week I felt a bit sentimental thinking "I used to hang my bag there" or "I used to play around these umbrellas" *sniffles*

Haha and to think of myself as a uni student..no longer a highschooler..HA! Talk about crazy and plain disturbing? I am so not ready to grow up!!! Long live immaturity and stupidity!!! YEAH!

I swear I'm going to cry next week. In fact; I'm going to be literally BAWLING my eyes hugging random people in my grade I never really talk to! It's all so exciting at the same time. Here and some of the things that will be happening and some things that I will be doing in the nxt few days....

Yr 12 BBQ Monday Lunch whooopeeee!!
Staff concert YEAAH!! Haha apparently there will be some essence of Village Ppl MAHAHAHHA!!! LOL.
Doing a tiny bit of work...I really should..just a BIT
Give hugs to everyone inc. teachers!
Take a whole heap of photos
Chapel Service Thursday
Valedictory Dinner Thursday night OoOoOoOOo
Going to the Rocks for lunch after the last day
PARTYING HARD yyaaaahhh

Sorry folks that's all I got time for now. Performing Arts Concert is still going on if you want to see the top half of my hideous costume go to Spong's msn blog and there you go *shuddeR* Tomorrow is the last night thank goodness no more piling on layers of make up and stupid low buns and sleeping so bloody late. Must schleep now!

Btw bon chance...ou...MERDE Lilo pour demain!!! Je suis sure que tu vas reussir!! Ne t'en fais pas d'accord? BISSSOUS!!!!

.:UPDATED:.
I have uploaded photos for the following:
<a href="http://www.imagestation.com/album/pictures.html?id=2124517986"target="_blank">Pre-New Years Eve Party Dec 2004
<a href="http://www.imagestation.com/album/pictures.html?id=2120546921"target="_blank">Swimming Carnival Feb 2005
<a href="http://www.imagestation.com/album/pictures.html?id=2120550414"target="_blank">Igssa Swimming Mar 2005
<a href="http://www.imagestation.com/album/pictures.html?id=2120548251"target="_blank">Nancy's Birthday June 2005
<a href="http://www.imagestation.com/album/pictures.html?id=2120545885"target="_blank">Sonki's 18th Aug 2005
<a href="http://www.imagestation.com/album/pictures.html?id=2120549525"target="_blank">Chris' 21st Sept 2005
<a href="http://www.imagestation.com/album/pictures.html?id=2120544884"target="_blank">Liddle Phoebe!
CHECK THEM OUT!!!

~Emz~

Back to the future

11:27AM SEP 3 2005

Back to the Future

CUPCAKE DOLLS ARE BACK! How excitement! I don't know if anyone ever owned a cupcake doll? These ones are much larger and they don't smell like the old ones! Hehehe my old one was a little grape smelling cupcake doll. For those who have been deprived and don't know what these dolls are - they look like cupcakes but then you can flip them upside down and it turns into a pretty doll with a puffy dress! Teehheeee if anyone wants to buy me a cupcake doll anytime soon....*nudge nudge* :D

.:updated:.

I found out they were produced/released around 1988!!

~Emz~

BLEH

4:18pm Aug 28 2005

BLEH

Well hello y'all!

A new post for yooooouuu! *waves* Humm...let's see
Well post-trials is very....bludgy and I don't think anyone has had the motivation to get off their lazy arses to do some decent study....well I know I haven't. It's coz we used all our brains, strength, being, etc. for the trials and now we're simply DRAINED. That's right - we're all dumb. Teehee.

It's a bit of a shock realising that this 'year' is almost over. There's only what...less than 2 months till the dreaded "YOU-KNOW-WHAT" and I've got HSC French Speaking in less than 2 weeks. In addition to the study/work there's a pile of year 12 events occuring as well as 18ths/21sts = busy busy busy!! I can't wait till the last day with the Chapel Service, the Countdown, and Valedictory dinner! Yaayyyy fun fun fun! I am 100% sure I will be bawling my eyes out at some point.

At the moment they're backburning and it is causing my throat to go all funny and painful - kind of like the feeling when you're about to get a cold. The sky's all murky grey and smokey - so disgusting! blerrggh

Well that's my words of wisdom for today...till next time! For instance...at this very moment, numerous are those who believe that I am focusing on Chemistry...or Extension English! But MUAHAHA!

Well...this is going to be an utterly boring update and I'm just doing this for myself, for the sake of writing something down to express my thoughts on the dreaded trials. You need not read :) - although...that's why you're here right?

Advanced English was reasonable. Section I was a bit screwed, consisting of a comic/visual text that was 'meant' to be funny but in fact the only humourous aspect about it was the fact that the people depicted were...well...a tad bit on the chubby side (no offence by the way). And what's worse, the first question to introduce the trials of 2005 was along the lines of: "What visual technique is used to create humour?" Er...yes as we scratched our heads and chewed our pens, we sat there in our uncomfortable chairs that rock too and fro (damn they're annoying) simply STUMPED. Section II, Creative Writing was quite nice in my personal opinion. It's most likely that I think that due to my cramming preparation for a creative writing, memorising it the weekend before and desperately hoping that I'd be able to use it. And hoorah for me, it was pperrrfecctt (stimulus: "And on the way I wonder...") I only had to slot in that quote once in my piece *satisfactory grin*. Section III was a broad and friendly essay question (can't recall it) and I think most people didn't have too much trouble pouring their ideas out for that one.

Next came French Continuers. 10 students sat within the confined room of the demountable classroom (no. 3). Listening...mmm...well considering my incapability to understand tapes, I found it quite hard...but not 'too' hard - audible enough to write some crap down to appear intellectual. The major bummer was Reading and Responding Part A - the two pieces weren't very difficult to understand in terms of the general jist, but the QUESTIONS ohmyGOSH they were so obsure. It seemed almost like someone decided to extract some questions based on another article/interview, distort it to the extent where the title and names were replaced, then slot them in at random in our paper. O_o eep! However, I *did* learn an extensive amount about Finnish children and their Finnish ways at excelling at school. Damn those children for not having any homework after school hours! *shakes fist*. Reading part B and Writing were good - I had written (for practice) similar pieces so regurgitating it all with the additional touch up was required. Oh oh, another thing. During the examination, we had various teachers coming in to supervise us - who each mind you have a preference of their own when it comes to cool air entering rooms. I can't recall how many times the windows were shut...then opened up...then shut...etc etc.

Maths 2u wasn't too spectacular. As 3U students, we have a lingering expectation of achieving 90-100% hahah FAT CHANCE! It was seemingly one of the longest maths trials I have ever done! It was FULL of sketching, which requires a lot of concentration, measuring, and steady hand movement - even your maths aid can't help you here!!!! During the exam, for the first time in my life, I needed the bathroom. Yes I know you probably don't want to know, but I want to tell you so you better listen up punk! Anyhoo, I realised half way into the exam but soldiered on until the very last 30 minutes until I could take it no more. It was a sigificant event in my life as I have never ever done it before *gasp*. I don't really have much to say about the exam. Only Mrs Kerr assured us that she wouldn't collapse on any desk before the examination LOL!!! Haha gotta love her! :)

1-2 hours after maths came dun-DuN-DUUNNN French Speaking. I felt slightly confident as I walked in and sat down preparing myself for the HSC questions...but alas they NEVER came. Instead I was asked ambigious questions that we usually focus on in writing and reading, but never speaking. The first question that completely stumped me (since I know NOTHING in this area in terms of vocabularly) was "What do you think of our school? Do you think you are lucky to be in this school?" The first thing that came to mind was (in french but I shall kindly translate) "Err..yes I think we are lucky...because...we have a big..library...with lots of books...and furthermore there aren't many schools with a beach...(crap) I mean a pool A POOL!" (I actually said beach *thumps head* what an idiot) So I came out quite shocked and shattered. Oh well...there's always the HSC...THEY will ask me questions from the syllabus sheet!!! THEY BETTER!

Woot woot, after a nice relaxing Wednesday night followed by an exam-free Thursday, Biology loomed over us today. Fortunately I'm much stronger and prepared in Bio. The exam was kindly 3 hours long which allowed time for me to check over my paper 2-3 times, stroll to the bathroom AND dry my hands with the warm hand drier (For Maths I had to use paper because of the time loss, and also it was friggin cold today, thus hand driers send tingly warm feelings up your spine in the midst of frosty weather :D), and have a short 5 minute nap. I think I did pretty good, although I usually think that for Bio and...then I get back my paper >.<....soo...that's not very...good.

Phwoar that was a lot of procrastudy! Lol sorry about your eyes :P but hey - if you go to Mim's blog, you'll be pained in reading her dramatic story in relation to sore eyes! Teehee!! Ta ta! There was my first week. Now comes the second. OMgosh I am so utterly screwed for it, you (yes YOU) don't even understand the extent of my screwedness! "So why aren't you working now huh HUH?" I hear you snobbishly ask. Well...

THat's the beauty of procrastudy ;)

~Emz~

The journey that lies ahead...

3:22pm Jul 29 2005

The journey that lies ahead...

Salut everyone, I cannot believe I am blogging at a time like this...although deep down for some reason I think I deserve to blog :P It has been hectic for all of us I'm sure...the lengthy tiresome nights where our eyes feel like they're going to drop out of their socket (sorry for the gory detail), the sudden urge to go mow the lawn/pluck some weeds/help out with the cooking/grown a chilli farm (haha!)/go for a run around sydney/etc., and finally the necessity of having endless amounts of information squeezed into that tiny head in comparison. However, it's our last year. I suppose we should be enjoying it considering it is "the best year at school we'll ever have". At the moment I really cannot see it, but I'm sure i'll push its way through all those messy formulas and techniques in my brain, so I'll come to realise what a great time I really did have. I'll tell you when that happens.

On another note, RICE is on this Saturday...wait yes that's tomorrow, and the following Saturday. It'll be awesome! I recommend for anyone who can go, to go :) It'll be an experience you'll never forget. Teehee I have finally collected the badges - all seven! I don't usually cry when I listen to songs, but this one just pulled out the waterworks. Not to mention grabbed my heart and twisted it in crazy knots causing me to go uber girly LOL. Check out the lyrics (although it's really the tune that drives me mad). There's still Athletics Carnival, Swimming Carnival, Igsaa Swimming, and Nancy's 18th left.

Humm..I was debating over whether I should upload Nouméa piccies as well...I wasn't planning to because there are a whole lot of *really* embarrassing ones in there that we all agreed would remain disclosed. Also, I don't know whether I'd be uploading for just Stef, Sarah, and Claire (and other ex-Nouméa travellers) or a whole range of viewers. Finally (and most importantly) there are over 100 photos in that album lol..thus I'd be sitting in front of this rectangular prismey thing for yonks. What do you think??? What are you willing to PAY me!? HUH?

Anyways, toodles ciao au revoir! *mwah*

~Emz~

As promised

11:02pm Jun 15 2005

As promised

Introducing...the 3 coffees! (As Rah and Sonks like to call them)

First up, Cuppa!
DESCRIPTION: Here we have the youngest of the trio...She's quite timid at the moment most likely because she was very used to having her sisters around at such a young age. Stayed in the house yesterday by herself too shy to come out, but luckily she was running around today! She possesses a very sweet and gurlie quality. Her coat is (evidentially) white with a dark brown base that runs onto the top of her tail and her eyes are beady black. She has light pink ears, feet, hands, nose and tail. Mum's favourite :P.

Next we have Mocha!
DESCRIPTION: The middle mouse and definitely the chubbiest!! Despite her dirty coat colour, she's actually quite a sweetie when she wants to be. However, she's a smart mouse who knows what to do to get back to the cage ie. peeing large amounts all over your hand! Her fur is a unique mixture of dark chocolate and golden brown, either blended by swirls or thin stripes, with dark brown ears, feet, hands, and tail. Also with beady black eyes. She's a fattttty

And lastly Latte!
DESCRIPTION: The oldest, but probably the most fit! Her main habit seems to be exercising day and night, and no other coffee occupying the wheel can stand in her way! She's very swift and hard to pick up. She and Mocha seem to be fighting over the wheel all the time, and when the battle is on, Latte is taken up and around the wheel, thus thrusting Mocha halfway up where she (Mocha) drops and falls smack bang onto Latte...and this continues for a few rounds! Latte is with a simple but beautiful mousy brown coat, big bold black eyes, and dark brown ears, feet, hands, and tail! Dad's favourite :P

WHEEL FIGHT!! ROUND 1

WHEEL FIGHT!! ROUND 2!! Went to Chatswood today to pick out the special trio :) Hopefully you'll be seeing photos of my sweet little darlings soon :) I shall leave their descriptions and personal details attached to their photos when I find the time to post again! :)

On another note, yes did you all hear? MJ is not guilty! Well, I didn't think he was in the first place, but he has been 'declared' not guilty (that's better Emily) and numerous fans all over the world are celebrating in delight that their musical idol may continue to power on through these tough times HA HA....lol. Yes it's true, the excitement is so contagious that it has spread all the way to Australia, here in Sydney, yes in a 'special' place called Parramatta hehehehhehe!!!! Okay I better stop now before someone slaps me O_o!

Thankfully only less than 2 weeks of this term remain, and holidays once again are approaching our poor tortured souls desiring to be leached out of our prison and be set FREE into the world of SHOPPING and HOLIDAYS and DOING NOTHING PRODUCTIVE! *sigh* No assessments this week fortunately, but 3 of them will be attacking me next week..so I should start furnishing my armour...sometime soon... OH oh and Trivia Night is coming up! Quel interessant! Sonki and I will be dressing up as Anastasia and Drizella from Cinderella (you know..the two step sisters) and we'll be all ugly and big-arsed etc etc. CAN't WAIT!! :D

Since I'm blogging on this day, and now I don't want everyone suddenly expecting this because it's a rare occasion that the two coincide....but Happy Birthday to Sam who is today THIRT...oops eerr...EIGHTEEN and STILL YOUNG! Ha ha!

Lastly, and most importantly I'd like to say...

**~ CONGRATULATIONS!!!! ~**

...to Yat who, on this day 14th June (what a lucky day it will become), found a job!!!!!!! And now we should all be very very very proud of him!!! YAy! *hugz* Let's go celebrate!!! Anyone up for a glass of wine?...Oh...I mean...err...YOU can drink the wine...and I'll watch...because I'm a good gurl who never does bad things :) *beams* Hehe once again congrats dude! Hope you don't mind the public announcement!!! ^_^

~Emz~

Hidely Ho Neighbourino!

4:51pm Jun 5 2005

Hidely Ho Neighbourino!

Hey y'all! It's been quite a while since I've blogged but hellooo *waves* just to reassure you that I haven't ditched my favourite and most loyal fans ....

Well not too much has been happening lately - just the same old boring stuff ie. WORK AND SCHOOL. The biggest thing that has happened definitely was Nancy's 18th which was today only a few hours ago. Happy Birthday Squirrel!!!! ^_^!! *mwaah mwaah mmmmmm yieeep beeep* :)

A few of us met on Pymbo station at 10am although we left at 10:30am since it took quite a while for everyone to arrive *coughcough* and then trained to Town Hall, making our way to Darling Harbour with Ali reciting the directions Nancy emailed us. It turned out that we weren't able to eat in the Chinese Gardens (which I mean...is ESSENTIAL for us) so we settled for a few picnic tables next to murky green water :P Twas a very enjoyable and sweet party, bringing us back to our childhood with the crayons and paper (Thanks Nancy!!!) and playing Twister. During her b'day party we took some hideous yet hilarious 'model shots' because that's just what we like to do....!! We also sat at tables at pigged out with all the food that Nancy, her family, and her neighbours were piling on in front of us mmmm foood!! There were spring rolls, cool sticky rice thingies but not errr too hard to explain, chips, seaweed (normal ones AND roasted!!), and much much moreee. And of course, the big birthday cake which was very delish indeed! :)

Here are some photo goodies for yoooou!!

~Emz~

Onward To The Future

9:31pm May 23 2005

Onward to the Future

Hello everyone - I really should not be blogging, but I am so tempted to that I'll make this one a short one.

Tonight was Careers Night - a very very interesting night I might add! I had planned out which course (rooms) I was going to and what kind of questions to ask etc. However, I only ended up going to the main hall with all the universities where you ask general info about whatever, as well as C9 (Agriculture, Science, Veterinary Science, Engineering) and spent maybe the first 5-10 minutes talking to a woman named Stephanie Xavier (what a funky last name!) about Animal Veterinary Bioscience (I think that's it) and then a good 1/2 hour with Mrs Helen Jones, a 5th year Vet Science student who was really excited in discussing almost anything to do with the course. After speaking with her (and coming back to ask more questions quite a few times) I have this massive urge to do Vet Science!! The only drawback would be the UAI cut off which is tad bit high...I'm not sure if I'll be able to get there...yes if you're wondering it's 98.45 eeeeeeeekkk!?!

Everything to do with the course sounds interesting and maahahahah turns out that even though in all the 'fine print' it states that assumed knowledge is Maths, Chem, and PHYSICS - you really don't need to know Physics at all...in fact according to Helen, she has no idea why it's in there as assumed knowledge at all? Wheee!! Yay that means no hardcore study during my lovely 4 months of utter bliss!!!

Anyway, I suspect that this has been the most boring blog that you all have ever read so I should stop blabbering on about it now!! Soooo a UAI of 98.45....better start studying for Chem Assessment then hey? It's...9:41pm ....bugger! Hehe YOU thought I wasn't going to talk about work didn't you? "She's discussing wintery things, so the subject of study could not possibly seive its way through" Well, I am more clever than you think *taps her nose*.

Yes that dreaded feeling of assessments approaching once again, almost like travelling on a great ship sailing the wide open sea, battling unexpected obstacles ahead - no one can stop this journey than a person travels on, it sweeps you over no matter what....oh deary me...I've been delving too much into Fax X.....this is what school does to your mind..................

Anyway, let's not think about assessments for this moment shall we? Yes I think we should leave this blog on a more friendly note. Hehe I think one of the few things keeping me sane through this year is knowing that it'll be all over after Chemistry Nov 2nd 12:31pm. Oooohhh I shall be utterly joyous and filled with glee when that day arrives!!! I have begun plotting and planning my activities during my first few days of freedom.

Wednesday Nov 2nd is the day for celebrating and having a big grand banquet for lunch;

Thursday Nov 3rd is Jasmine's 18th so whoever will have finished by then will join me to party all night(or day) long!

Friday Nov 4th is the day in the city for good theraputic SHOPPING! Hooraaah!

Wednesday Nov 16th is the day for the fantastic year 12 FORMAL! :D *beams* I can't wait to get dressed up again and marvel at all my pwetty fwends!! Although I still resent the fact that it'll be held at Luna Park...*grumble* (not the ACTUAL themepark of course silly)

Hopefully I can start my formal shopping, and find a dress within the first 7 days, following with the shoes, accessories, and so forth. I am going to force Sonki into a hairdresser and straighten that damn hair!! Haha I will conquer Sonks!! I WILL!! *determined*

Oh oh and Athletics Carnival is on this Thursday, which will be fun fun, although I'm predicting all the year 12s won't have the energy to cheer as loudly and proudly as they did for the Swimming Carnival. I still haven't decided what funky and embarrassing outfit to wear - any suggestions? Please feel free to contribute!! At least we get a day off school (kinda) which is a relief :)

Well, I bid thee farewell. Have a splendid week everybody and keep smiling! :)
*mwah*

~Emz~

Lurrrve

8:07pm May 4 2005

Lurrrve

"L is for the way you look at me
O is for the only one I see
V is very very extraordinary
E is even more than anyone that you adore
And love is more than I can give to you
Yeah love is more than just a game for two
Two in love can make it
Take my heart but please don't break it
Love was made for me and you!" ^_^

Hehhehhe I am currently in a very sing-ey mood as well as thinking about cute and sweet love phrases. :P Here are some gorgeous and beautiful love sayings that I have discovered not too long ago...

----
"You asked me who's life was more important - yours or mine. I said mine and you walked off angry without realising that you are my life."
This one just makes me wanna go 'awwwwwww' and squeal like a girly girl lol. It's the typical kind of cute luvy duvy phrase - not too special and meaningful in my opinion but very very nice!

"I love sunrises, because each sunrise means another day that I get to share with you."
*bubbles* Something simple, pretty, and sweet, yet extremely touching! ^_^

"There are no regrets we can't get over, as long as you and me are together."
Teeeheeehee!!
This one just brings a smile to my face! :) The perseverance in love, the willingness to keep going when things get rough and to be looking ahead and work on making each day better than the last, despite all the hardships and hurt a couple has been through.

"Love is not blind - It sees more and not less, but because it sees more, it is willing to see less."
I absolutely adore this phrase because it's so beautiful and so touching. The fact that love causes a person to be willing to look past all the little things like the physical appearance, or flaws

"God created Eve from Adam's ribs - not from his head to overpower him, not from his feet to be trampled by him, but from his ribs to be equal to him, by his side and close to his heart."
This luvely phrase was said at KYC 2005 which sent all the gurls 'awwwing' and all the guys groaning. I suppose this one is more for the gurlies hey?
----

Au revoir mes amis!
(Eergh...for some reason a small chunk of this blog was deleted while I was editing. This would make it my 2nd (1st one was Berties!) and it was very very nice indeed ^_^!

Haha drove up with Ines ...that's RIGHT I drove! Hehe yes you may be surprised that I am still alive (and on that note yes Ines is fine and breathing) but originally I was going to drive up by myself. I'm very glad that I didn't because I am pretty sure I would have lost my way and ended up Emu Plains or something LOL! Ines thankfully assisted me with directions and we made our way there in approx. 45 mins (from school). Arrived and waited for a while with Kevin, Mike, Vinci, Amy, and Chris for all the graduate ppl to file out. Hahahaha awww Yat looked quite the *bundle* in his big cloak and cutely shaped hat with the tassle neatly hanging off the side! Apres ca, we headed off to Maccas for some snacking and chit chatting!

I think it's pretty weird - this year is a pretty big one. I mean, with people graduating and leaving uni, as well as us leaving year 12 and becoming BIG GIRLS! Wheee heee! Also there are quite a few 21st and an excessive amount of 18ths this year. It just makes me wanna cryy!!! *waaahhh* HAha meeeh that's SO asian of me. O_o! Anyway, everyone has to make the best of this year and ENJOY IT!

Au revoir!

~Emz~

Recap & Reminder

3:07pm Apr 25 2005

Recap & Reminder

Kyckstart was awesome - I'm sure a lot of people would agree! The speakers were interesting, understandable, and great tools in spreading God's word. The music was thrilling, joyous, and made you wanna jump up and down (not on the chairs haha).

Our house *phwooarr* was excellent! I'm heaps thankful for such lovely accomodation (thx Susie!). We stayed in Leura which isn't too far from Katoomba. Our house was big, spacious, white on the outside, and sat over this lookout. I have to point and say HA HA to the Gordon/ND guys (yes I know I'm being mean) because they had the house at Blackheath that a whole heap of other girls and I had to suffer through at KYC. There there boys the bugs don't take up that much room :P

On a more...ermm depressing note: School starts tomorrow (yes only for us damn every other school!! *shakes fist* >.<). That means back to the winter uniform! Say goodbye to waking up 5 minutes before the time of leaving the house, and hello to thick black stockings, see through white shirts, extremely short ties (since year 3!), frumpy high tartan skirts so tight that they prevent you from eating anything remotely fattening, and yes - the tam. I have discovered and shipped off to this new land where I be blogging! Hehe :)

Yes, I am migrating to blogger, and finally leaving my xanga and its limiting resources!! I'll be placing up my archives gradually (the ones in my xanga) and also playing around with the template here. I would like to become a tad bit more familiar with HTML coding as well so this will be a good opportunity for me to do so!

Yay!

~Emz~
